Our signature barriers are lightweight, user-friendly, and excel in virtually any setting from inside stadiums and arenas to uneven terrain and beaches. We have seen it all and take pride in creating solutions for any environment.

But, we didn’t stop at the barrier.

This includes cable ramps to safeguard important cables, VIP and ADA platforms for premium viewing, rolling risers for DJs and elevation, front-of-house and signage structures, delay towers for projecting sound, and spotlights to illuminate performers. With strategically located gear depots across the United States, Guardian can service clients within one business day in most markets.

J.B. DOLPHIN

J.B. DOLPHIN

Managing Director

As the Managing Director of Guardian Barrier Services, JB is involved in every aspect of the business including sales, business management, and strategic planning. He is focused on maintaining relationships with clients, creating positive corporate culture to ensure long-term retention of employees, and delivering the products and services of Guardian with unrivaled attention to detail. With an extensive 25-year background in the music industry, JB began at age 16 with his first gig on the Lollapalooza tour. Over the years, he has worked in virtually every department of the industry, including Production Management, Rigging, Staging, Lighting, and Scenic Carpentry.

After graduating from the College of Charleston in 2005, JB’s career took a more focused path when he was recruited to open the North American office for a Dutch barrier company. Whether overseeing barrier installations at a festival or launching a tour from rehearsals, JB dedicates himself to the success of Guardian. He can often be found behind a desk at the office in Mount Joy, PA, or enjoying time with his wife, Carrie, and their dogs, Maybelle and Ruthie.

KELLY FOREMAN

KELLY FOREMAN

Logistics Manager

As Logistic Manager, Kelly assumes the crucial responsibilities of booking trucks, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups, dispatching Guardian drivers, and managing the motor carrier/broker license. With a B.S. degree in Structural Engineering, she brings experience in project management and bookkeeping to her position. Despite the challenges posed by last-minute changes, Kelly takes pride in being part of a team that contributes to the success of concerts and festivals. During her leisure hours, she enjoys playing soccer on a co-ed team, taking naps, and socializing with friends. Kelly resides in Elizabethtown with her two kids, ages 12 and 14, and their two cats.

FUN FACT: Kelly is an identical twin.

BRANDON ROYER

BRANDON ROYER

Warehouse Manager

Brandon manages the shipping and receiving of gear, handles product inventories, and takes the lead on equipment maintenance. With an Associate degree in Science for Recording Engineering from Full Sail University, he brings valuable expertise to the team, having previously served as the Operations Manager at Illusion Sound and Lighting. Brandon makes his home in Lancaster City with his wife and two children. Outside of his responsibilities at the Guardian warehouse, he finds joy in playing guitar, spending time with his kids, and introducing them to new experiences.

FUN FACTS: Brandon was once in a band with John Wagoner. He was born with only one kidney.

LAURA KEEN

LAURA KEEN

Controller

As the Controller, Laura manages various accounting duties, including payroll, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), sales tax, invoicing, and job costing, among others. Laura earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Millersville University. Prior to Guardian, Laura worked as an Accountant in the healthcare field with RGAL until 2022, witnessing its merger with other gastrointestinal practices. Laura finds the expansiveness and continued growth of the industry fascinating. She is consistently impressed by the seamless collaboration within the team, working together effectively to bring projects to life for the end user. Residing in Ephrata, PA, with her two cats, Jace and Sketti, Laura enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.

JOHN WAGONER

JOHN WAGONER

Director of Sales

John brings over 25 years of experience in the music industry as an Audio Engineer, Operations Manager, Sales Representative, and even a musician. He has been JB’s “right hand man” for ten years, including three years prior to the formation of Guardian. When John isn’t making sure hundreds of events are orchestrated flawlessly, he is playing in the 80s cover band, The Nancy Reagans, and hiking with his Great Dane, Ca$h.

BRIAN DOLPHIN

BRIAN DOLPHIN

Project and Employee Recruitment Manager

Brian has been involved with the live event industry for over 15 years and spends most of his time as one of the “faces of the company” traveling throughout North America acting as lead tech at the largest festivals, identifying new job opportunities, and meeting with clients on job sites. Brian holds a dual-major Bachelor’s degree in History and Geology and a Master’s degree in Public History with a concentration in Historic Preservation. When on the road, he quenches his never-ending thirst for knowledge through visiting local historical sites and landmarks. When not working, he enjoys the outdoors with his wife and 2 kids. Before he joined the live event industry full time in 2020, he worked as a Hydrogeologist as well as an Art Museum Development Officer.

FUN FACT: Brian has visited every forty-seven State Parks in South Carolina and nearly forty of the State Parks in Pennsylvania.

DAMARON PENSTON

DAMARON PENSTON

Warehouse Manager

Damaron, known as “D” in the office, serves as the Warehouse Manager, bringing a unique set of skills to the table. His expertise includes overseeing incoming and outgoing products, coordinating the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of inventory, delegating tasks to warehouse personnel, and ensuring the overall condition of warehouse facilities. With a background in building construction and business management, coupled with experience in carpentry, electrical work, sales, and management, D is well-equipped for his role. He appreciates the dynamic work environment and people at Guardian as the need for staying prepared for the frequent changes in the industry is a common obstical. Outside of work, D enjoys hobbies such as art and design, sports, carpentry, and crafting rugs. A native of Lancaster, he shares his home with his girlfriend and their cat.

FUN FACTS: D can juggle and read upside down.

PAUL BECHHOLD

PAUL BECHHOLD

Onsite Supervisor and Truck Driver

Before joining Guardian Barrier Services as an Onsite Supervisor and Truck Driver Extraordinaire, Paul had a background in the customer service and restaurant industry. The most demanding aspect of his current role is finding a balance for a home life amidst frequent travels. Currently residing in Lititz, PA, Paul co-parents his cat, Pico de Gato. When he’s not traveling the world for shows, he enjoys snowboarding, fishing, disc golf, and any outdoor activity that comes his way.

FUN FACT: Paul once scored a bullseye on a dartboard while riding backward on a skateboard, and there were witnesses.

JOE ZIMMERMAN

JOE ZIMMERMAN

Operations Manager

In his role as Operations Manager, Joe assumes responsibility for overseeing fabrication, purchasing, asset management, and warehouse operations. Initially in the masonry field, Joe has since toured with acts such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Taylor Swift, Jay Z, Beyoncé, and Metallica. Working behind the scenes, he handles tasks ranging from CAD design to occasional fieldwork and training staff for Guardian’s major shows. Joe finds fulfillment in contributing to the creation of a safe and enjoyable experience for event attendees. Residing in Terre Hill with his wife, three kids, and their cat, Joe’s loves to escape to his family’s cabin for ATV and dirt bike riding.

FUN FACT: Joe can repair almost anything.

DAN WALLACE

DAN WALLACE

Project Manager

In his role as Project Manager, Dan oversees projects from the initial inquiry to completion, including handling special projects. With a background encompassing audio, video, lighting, staging, and touring, Dan brings a wealth of experience to his position. He enjoys the travel, music, and the opportunity to meet new people that come with his role at Guardian. When not immersed in the execution of shows, Dan likes to go fly fishing and working on his historic 1700s house where he resides with his wife, three kids, and their dog and cat.

FUN FACTS: Dan was once an apprentice French pastry chef and managed nightclubs.

CARRIE DOLPHIN

CARRIE DOLPHIN

Office Manager, Travel Coordinator, and Reluctant Swag Manager

Carrie takes on the crucial role of coordinating travel for the Guardian team, ensuring office organization through supply ordering and T-shirt rolling, and bringing cute dogs to work. With a college background in Psychology and Economics, Carrie initially worked in social services, focusing on substance use disorder and treatment. While her biggest job challenge is coaxing people to submit credit card receipts, she finds fulfillment in collaborating with skilled individuals capable of executing successful gigs despite the myriad moving parts. Currently remodeling a house near Guardian’s office in Mount Joy alongside JB, Carrie and JB presently reside in Lancaster with their two dogs. During her leisure hours, Carrie finds joy in traveling and reading.

FUN FACT: Carrie teaches Barre classes in Lancaster.

JACK HAYES

JACK HAYES

Lead Tech and Truck Driver

Jack has served as Guardian’s field expert since the company’s establishment in 2017, having worked alongside JB for several years prior. Initially a tile contractor and self-proclaimed “barricade whisperer,” Jack now fulfills the roles of a driver and technician for tours for artists such as Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs. Although being away from home poses a constant challenge, Jack’s favorite thing about his work is positively impacting people’s lives. He believes that failure is not an option. During his down time, Jack loves sailing.

FUN FACT: Jack considers himself quite the jokester.
